If you have spent any time on the Ivory Meadows website, you already know the venue is beautiful. The 83 acres, the white shiplap barn, the golden hilltop sunsets, the bridal suites. All of it is real, and all of it is waiting for you.
But the truth is, what couples remember most about their wedding day at Ivory Meadows usually is not the building. It is the people.
Our team is the reason couples leave their wedding day feeling fully cared for instead of stressed out. We are the ones answering your late-night planning emails, walking you through your timeline, lighting the candles, fluffing the linens, and handing you a tissue when you see your fiancé for the first time. And we love every minute of it.
So we thought it was time you met us.
Meet Maria

Maria Waymire is the founder of Ivory Meadows and, alongside her husband Chris, the owner.
What you see today started as a dream more than 20 years ago, one that came to life through patience, intention, and a great deal of hard work. Maria and Chris broke ground in the fall of 2020, and by July 2021 they hosted their very first wedding. Since then, Ivory Meadows has been the setting for nearly 350 weddings.
While the venue was designed to be beautiful, Maria has always said its purpose goes far beyond aesthetics. It was created to be a place where people feel genuinely cared for. She is incredibly proud of what has been built, but she is the first to say it is the dedicated team behind the scenes who truly bring the space to life on every wedding day, with heart and intention.
Living out this dream alongside such wonderful clients and an amazing team is something Maria never takes for granted.
Meet Audrey

Audrey Kaser is our Chief Operating Officer, part-owner, and our lead coordinator. After graduating from The Ohio State University with a hospitality degree, her heart led her to joining the family business that just began the previous year. She has been part of the Ivory Meadows team for four years, and you would be hard-pressed to find anyone more passionate about wedding days.
Ask Audrey what her favorite part of the day is, and she will struggle to pick just one. She loves the bride’s first look with her dad and her groom, the kind of emotional moments that catch everyone off guard. She loves the minutes right after the ceremony, when the couple is officially married, and you can see the nerves and stress finally melt away. And the moment right before the bride walks down the aisle? It gives her chills every single time.
Right now, she is loving the romantic trend of candlesticks and soft pastel colors. As far as wedding-day advice goes, hers is simple. Her biggest advice for couples is to slow down, be present, and truly take in each moment of your wedding day. It goes by so quickly—so soak it all in and remember that every detail is simply a reflection of you and a celebration of your love.
What Audrey loves most about her role is building real relationships with our couples, often becoming friends throughout the process. That part of the job, she says, is something she will always cherish.
When she is not at the venue, she is probably at home with her husband and dog, out to dinner with friends, or grabbing a vanilla latte somewhere. Pies and Pints is her local favorite.
Meet Chanel

Chanel Betts serves as our Operations Event Manager, playing a key role in ensuring every wedding day runs seamlessly. She oversees event staffing, making sure each celebration is fully supported, while also managing our in-house décor inventory—keeping everything organized, well-maintained, and ready for each event. She has been with us for almost two years, and recently stepped into the coordinator role too.
Her favorite part of a wedding day is watching a couple’s vision finally come to life after months of planning. Fair warning: she will cry when the bride walks down the aisle, especially when she sees the groom’s reaction.
She is deep in her floral era right now and cannot get enough of spaces filled with beautiful arrangements. Her advice for couples is short and sweet: take a few quiet minutes alone together before the reception starts, soak it all in, and most importantly, have fun.
Why It Matters
Wedding planning involves a lot of decisions. Where you will get married is one of the biggest. But just as important as the venue itself is the team behind it.
When you book at Ivory Meadows, you are not just choosing 83 acres and a beautiful barn—you are choosing a family-owned business that truly cares about the couples we serve. Being family-owned means we take a more personal approach to every wedding, building genuine relationships and creating thoughtful, meaningful experiences along the way. You get Maria, Audrey, Chanel, and the rest of our team in your corner, invested in your day as if it were our own.
Our administrative team is always available from the moment you sign your contract to answer questions and assist with vendor recommendations and logistics. As your wedding day approaches, a dedicated in-house coordinator will step in to guide you through the final details and be there through the last dance of your reception. You get people who truly care how your day unfolds, because we know you are not just another wedding to us—you are a couple we have the privilege of getting to know throughout the entire season.
That is the kind of team we have worked hard to build, and it is the kind of experience we love providing.
Come Meet Us in Person
There is only so much you can learn about a place from a website, even one this nice. The best way to get a feel for Ivory Meadows is to walk the property, see the barn, and meet the people who would be by your side on your wedding day.
We would love to host you. Schedule a tour and come say hi.
